How a group works and communicates together in a team can be seen within a very short time when dealing with the herd animals.
A sheep reacts to the smallest changes and is highly sensitive. The flock of sheep is located in a delimited area with a size of approx. 80 × 80 m. The flock of sheep is then kept in a separate area. In a first step, the participants learn interesting and important details about the behaviour of sheep. The guests move freely on the surface and explore their peculiarities and behaviour during a walk through the flock of sheep. All participants are given pellets (animal feed) to make friends with the sheep more easily.
Together with the shepherd, exercises with the sheep will be carried out:
-Quietening a sheep (during shearing a sheep, for example)
-Separation of individual sheep from the group. 20 marked sheep are to be driven into a separate fence.
-Driving the flock of sheep in a team.
