Lübeck gained much recognition through its status as a trading city, especially from the 14th century, when it became the unofficial queen of the Hanseatic League. The architectural style used in this region at that time was brick Gothic, which is strongly linked to northern Germany and other areas influenced by German traders and immigrants. Lübeck is on the UNESCO World Heritage List as one of the most beautiful examples of a brick Gothic city.
All buildings in the city centre show this unique style. After the war, the city was extensively rebuilt so that guests can now get to know this part of German history for themselves.
Within the framework of our city game, the guests, divided into teams, have the opportunity to get to know Lübeck from a particularly exciting side. We lead you to the Holstentor, the Füchtingshof, the Buddenbrookhaus and of course to a marzipan manufactory. The informative stations of the city play alternate with active stations.
